Below is a list of the requisites to setting up a poultry farm:

জলের সরবরাহ:
সারা বছর পর্যাপ্ত ও পরিষ্কার জলের ব্যবস্থা থাকতে হবে।
জলের মান:
টিডিএস (TDS) ৭৫০ ppm-এর কম হওয়া উচিত
pH মাত্রা ৬.০ থেকে ৮.৫ এর মধ্যে থাকা আবশ্যক
পোলট্রি শেডের নকশা:
শেডের প্রস্থ প্রায় ২৫ ফুট হওয়া উচিত
জল জমা এড়াতে মেঝে মাটির স্তর থেকে কমপক্ষে ২ ফুট উঁচু হতে হবে
বিদ্যুৎ ও আলো:
নির্ভরযোগ্য বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগ অপরিহার্য
প্রতি ৪০০ বর্গফুটে ১টি টিউব লাইট ব্যবস্থাপনা করা উচিত
বায়ো-সিকিউরিটি ব্যবস্থা:
রোগ প্রতিরোধের জন্য শেডের প্রবেশপথে জীবাণুনাশক সহ ফুট ডিপ রাখা প্রয়োজন

To maintain high standards of broiler production and farm bio-security, DesiHen Agro Pvt Ltd recommends the following basic infrastructure requirements for farm setup and selection:
Water Supply:
Continuous availability of clean water throughout the year is essential.
Water Quality Parameters:
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) should be below 750 ppm
pH level must be maintained between 6.0 and 8.5
Poultry Shed Design:
Shed width should be approximately 25 feet
Floor height should be a minimum of 2 feet above ground level to avoid water logging
Electricity & Lighting:
Reliable electricity connection is mandatory
Adequate lighting with one tube light per 400 sq. ft
Bio-Security Practices:
Disinfectant foot dip at the shed entrance is required to prevent disease entry
Feed Storage Facility:
A separate feed storage room near the shed
Proper arrangement for stacking and protecting feed bags
Water Storage Arrangement:
Two separate water tanks to be maintained
One for medicated water
One for regular drinking water
Recommended capacity: 500 litres per 1000 sq. ft
Environmental Control:
Side curtains to be provided along the full length of the shed
Curtains should be installed on both the inner and outer sides
Space Management:
Internal partitions suggested for every 500 sq. ft area
Weighing Platform:
Dedicated platform for weighing scale placement
Standard size: 3 feet x 3 feet
